Milestone reflects growing adoption of flexible car leases as alternative to buying or long-term leasing
BOSTON, July 16, 2025 — Flexcar, the month-to-month flexible car lease company, today announced that its members have driven more than 200 million miles, underscoring the increasing demand for its commitment-free alternative to traditional car ownership.

- Expanding the Flexcar fleet to over 200 makes and models, including top picks like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Altima, Volvo XC60, and Chevy Equinox. Additionally, Flexcar recently expanded its luxury fleet to include a range of 2025 Mercedes models.
- Launching the Flexcar Gas Saver™ program, offering exclusive discounts of up to 30¢ per gallon at participating Sunoco stations across East Coast markets.
- Opening its first retail store in the Shops at Chestnut Hill to give Boston-area residents a hands-on way to learn about Flexcar’s offerings, choose a vehicle that fits their needs, and pick up their vehicles in the Boston area.
- Moving into a new headquarters in Downtown Boston. The new office spans more than 16,000 square feet, to support the company’s ongoing investment in both Flexcar employees and Flexcar member services.
